It's like the Bama game gave him a case of the yips. He wasn't throwing bounce passes in September and October.

Because, like every other QB Les recruits, he is not very good.

I wish I knew. He has been up way up and then way down since he got here. I doubt anyone really knows but I will stay tuned.

There's no offensive direction and you can't turn the passing game on and off when you have to pass.

Instead, we should have let him get his reps in with the WR's early in the season like every other good coach would have.

Too much confidence. He lost his hunger. Quit working as hard.

The whole team gets worse as the season goes along, including 2011.

But, I thought the D looked really good Saturday, not sure what happened.

He didn't regress, he was no good at first and no good at the end. He just played easy teams at first.

His mechanics, specifically his footwork, step motion, and shoulder motion, became worse as the season progressed; he was loose and hitchy, not tight and sharp. These factors led to his accuracy issues.

Also, as the running game was stopped and he needed to make plays in order to move the offense, he tried to force some plays and made questionable judgment calls out of pressure, chance, and sometimes desperation in an effort to keep the offense on the field.

I also believe he was not prepared to make some of the plays he needed to at critical moments in the game. Why, I do not know. Perhaps there was not much emphasis on such plays in practice, perhaps because he did not make a lot of such plays in the first half of the season because he was not called upon to do so. My guess is a combination of the two.

Finally, when the offense began to crawl as opponents repeatedly stacked the box to stop the run game and he was unable to make the critical plays to break defenses, he began to lose confidence in himself and maybe the scheme. I believe this might have been the psychological factor.

The "JJ scowl" is a clear barometer of the offense's performance

Over the last two seasons the offense rarely gets into a rhythm throwing the football. It's never crisp or fluid, just very disorganized. It almost has a backyard football game feel to it. This would make any Qb frustrated and bring confidence down very low.

I don't know if he just isn't good. He was one of the top rated QBs in his class for a reason. But so were other QBs recruited by Miles.

I think the main issue isn't so much his lack of talent, rather than some inherent issue with the way Miles coaches Qbs.

JL, JJ, AJ and BH all had offers from multiple power 5 schools, yet they all look remarkably similar after being in Les' offense. That should tell what the real problem is.

OK Jaworski. Thanks for leaving the film vault to inform us of your coaching prowess.

When your offence is based on play action and you can't run the ball your in trouble? When you have a line not able to protect your in trouble?

The Alabama and Arky game was so predictable that they were slanting the direction of the play all night. That is the biggest problem is the play calling is so predictable and never seem to guess wrong. That needs to fixed.

Maybe we can hire a QB coach? The o-line didnt do anyone any favors this season. Im tired of hearing how great they are and then watching them suck.

Running Les' offense with a dual threat QB is like running the option with Mettenberger. Les needs to STOP recruiting dual threat QBs to play in a pro style, stay in pocket offense.

He's being asked to do more and his offensive line has been bad. That has contributed to his inaccuracy.
