Just getting on a plane, and about half of the overhead bins had purses and small briefcases in them just laid out comfortably instead of putting them under the seat in front of them. Just either ignorance or complete narcissism to put a small purse or briefcase in the overhead on one of the busiest travel days of the year.

Here's a PSA for today: Don't be a dick and put small carry-on items under the seat in front of you instead of forcing people to check their roll-on bags because you wanted slightly more leg room. Thank you.

This is happening more often for some reason. Noticed it the past few flights I've been on.

Push that crap to the side and put your bag up there.

I did push them aside, but 4 people had to get off the plane and go check theirs because of these assholes. It just pissed me off enough to make a thread about it.

This is why most of the OT flies private.

Had some Germans giving me some looks in Frankfurt last year when I started removing their stupid jackets from the bins to put our bags in.

I didn't even ask permission. frick those Krauts.

The only thing worse is the oversize carry on guy. It's for small bags, not anything with wheels.

I blame the flight attendants. They need to get off their lazy asses and enforce the rules.

bullshite. Those things were built specifically for these bags, not your fricking briefcase. If I'm going on a 3 day business trip, then guess what, I'm not checking. Anyone who travels frequently knows your statement is just foolish and ridiculous.

OMLandshark, if you were such a travel expert wouldn't you be flying 1st Class or at least boarding in Sky or Zone 1?

Joe Alleva and Mickey Loomis have lost control of carry-on luggage.

Actually (no joke) flew First Class into Memphis on Wednesday. Couldn't pull it off for the home journey. It's the busiest travel day of the year, so it's a bit more difficult to get upgraded to First Class than usual.

And most of my points are with Delta, and I'm currently flying American.

Perhaps I should change "anything" to "everything" in my post but your anger to my post seems to indicate that you are the type who slams the bin door twenty times before his suitcase with all his earthly possessions is now the right dimensions to fit.

Never struggled with it. I've got a suitcase that can always fit in there.

I also don't understand why they don't board back to front on the plane.
