Which notable program will most likely be disappointed with their hire?

Just saw a tweet from SportsCenter listing the more "favorable" job openings for next year.
So, which school doesn't at least match their ROI over the next five or so years?
I'd argue that Maryland and Syracuse would be ecstatic with a coach capable of providing some 7-8 win seasons and have no need for "splash" hires. Meanwhile, USCw and Miami are currently losing their minds over the same type of season and are eager to retain some of the national spotlight they had earlier in the millenium.
My vote would be South Carolina. Spoiled by the past 5ish years of Spurrier (42-16 including this year), they look for a home-run hire that can rekindle a streak of 10-win seasons. Unfortunately, the amount of historically big name jobs (esp. now with UGA in the mix) only nets them a good but not great coach.
Miami is also falling into a black hole of suck, so any hire they make could not be enough to appease the fanbase/boosters.
Interested to know you guys' thoughts on another wide open season of CFB coaching hires

I'm going with Georgia because odds are the new guy will do as well as the old guy.

Imagine how vindicated Les' supporters will feel if the man to follow Richt has an absolute bust of a season next year

Yes and No.
If we go 8-4 again it doesn't matter what the UGA guy did.
I think "vindication" starts with a 10 win regular season.

Good point. I always assumed Les would try to retire after the 2016 season anyways. Up to him as to whether that will come with an exclamation or a whimper.

Are y'all equating the retention of Miles as a hire? Or alluding to our increasingly-likely OC change?
If it's the latter and Miles opts for a similar hire to Cam Cameron, I can agree with the disappointment. However, if he makes a change similar to Oklahoma (really seems they a have high-octane offense that lets their athletes thrive on the ground and through the air), I think there is reason for optimism

Richt had 8 top 10 finishes and 6 trips to the SEC title game. Their next coach will do well, I don't see K Smart or whoever they hire matching those numbers.

I meant it as that the new coach would do as well as Richt as a ceiling, as in, no national championships and few SEC Championships which is what this is all about.

I think there are merits to finding space on offense though, both on the ground and through the air. There are only a handful of teams that recruit a high enough volume of players to blow away every front seven they face.
I agree that a solid run game is essential to a successful offense, though. I guess I remembered y'all running it more back in the day

The way it looks like the Eagles have just packed it in halfway through the season makes it seem like Chip Kelly will be heading somewhere new this offseason
