Joe Schad is reporting they are meeting in the 1st quarter of the Saints game to make a decision on Alluvia's fate, and sources say he'll be gone as early as Monday at lunch time....

I wouldn't be opposed to letting him go with Miles next year, if it comes to that.

Unless he is able to score a massive mutiny from the current state and fire miles (1%chance of that) I think miles gets him fired. Miles won. Miles can truthfully say to his allies on the bos that alleva cut his legs out from under him last year with the dc hire and destroyed his credibility by his actions/inactions over the past 3 weeks. If the board has any sympathy for the football program and want it to succeed les must demonstrate his dominance by getting alleva out. Otherwise he's a lame duck to recruits and to assistants.

Miles to become AD after 2016 season. Hire OC/coach in waiting now, to take over at end of next season. Bye bye Joe!

Where does the come from? It was the media blowing everything way out of proportion using pure speculation as a foundation for their arguments. Alleva said he wouldn't comment on anything until after the season and that's what he did. Point your finger at the media, not Alleva.

Number one reports were that alleva himself leaked it. Number two that comment was the most backhanded yes I want to fire him now I've ever heard. Even if it's not true you give the guy a vote of confidence. The look on his face and the announcement ten min after the conclusion of the game and les obviously having no clue to his job status shows that it was les vs alleva and the president and board ruled les.

Reports have been misleading throughout this entire thing.

This is honestly just your personal interpretation of it, which is fine, but I believe you're wrong. I think Alleva didn't want to say anything because there was nothing to say, and he just wanted to keep the team focused on the game. Should he have said something as the media was spiraling out of control with their bs? Maybe. But I think him wanting the team to stay focused was his main reason for not addressing it, which is fine by me. I like to think he was thinking about what was best for the team.

On a somewhat separate note, just because ESPN and other media make a loud ruckus doesn't mean they should be given attention. I'm confident the administration knew what they were doing all along (and maybe made considerations but that's what a good business does at all times to keep things checked and balanced). Screw ESPN for making everyone believe they needed answers for bs they pretty much made up in the first place.

Dude, the writing is on the wall. This was set in motion last season.

Alleva doesn't give a frick about any team at LSU. He cares about money!!

Why people keep trying to stick up for this guy is mind boggling.

If Les is so stupid, looks like he keeps outsmarting our even dumber AD and boosters.
