My source is telling me that this is a plot to quiet the media circus (local and national) and that we are 100% well aware of the Sexton/Saban to Texas deal and have made the right moves for Jimbo to come to LSU.
Was also told that Miles did not go quietly but was not in the position to negotiate the exit but that we have worked outa package for him. Lastly was told that it has been an old festering wound after the 2012 title game and the Arkansas plot for a raise really effectively strained Allevas and the TAFs support for Miles pretty badly.

This actually makes sense. Miles did use Arkansas to bolster his pay day, which is understandable.. but very frustrating given he was already a top paid coach.. so they extended him with a raise.. He isn't coaching nearly at the level of the amount of money they are paying him.. and he's still stubborn to a fault.. that could be pretty frustrating..
