The team that almost overcame a 21 point halftime deficit to South Carolina in the outback bowl?

That's why Iowa is so good. They respond when needed. They're on the magic carpet ride

I'm a firm believer in this in sports. When a team plays above their heads for this long, they become what everyone doubts they are. Each player figures out their job and learns to execute it to perfection.

I think the Panthers are in the middle of this. Have they been good all year? Yes. But now, they know EXACTLY what they need to do each week and have all the confidence in the world that they can execute.

The sad part about this game is that this is the average quality opponent they Iowa has played all year.

Think I'm going to have to break my Big Ten rahrah rule and hop on this bus if the Buckeyes don't win the East.

Would be so funny to watch them win it all as this board melts.

Yep. Teams that might not be at the top in terms of talent have to find an identity real quick. When they do, and they keep winning, they become very dangerous no matter who they're playing.

Same with Alabama. It sucks that it has come to this.

They have no chance?

Miami had no shot vs NU
tOSU had no shot last year or vs Miami
Texas had no shot vs USC

Iowa has a real shot because they play defense and run the ball.

They have a better chance than all but three to five other teams.

That's funny because Alabama has only played 1 team with a losing record this season...

I guess when your entire conference plays the likes of McNeese state in their OOC, it males it tough to lose games.
