The more I read about him the more I'd have to agree. People seem to forget that many LSU fans wanted to get rid of Jimbo when he was at LSU. Herman implemented his system at Houston within a year. Imagine what he could do with LF and our WR's within a year. He knows that a team can't win a championship without a solid defense...or at least that's what I've seen quoted.

What's to implement? He already had Greg Ward Jr who lit it up last year going 6-2 in his starts. They already had a pretty damn good RB in Farrow as well. I posted all offseason that he was going to crush it year one because he had perfect pieces established. If he walked into a pro style system with a barely mobile QB, he'd have been f**ked.

Bradley Dale Peveto is so outta there. He's a failure in every job he's had with a football team.

Kelly - USC my belief anyday now
Patterson - Defensive wiz with great offense as well
Jimbo - good fit but I don't see him catching the world on fire. May be wrong and if so ill admit it.
Leach - Wins everywhere he goes with les talent, his QBs usually lead the nation in passing
Stoops - Steady, defensive guy, switched OCs and now is top 4 in the nation.

That's where I am. I would say Chip Kelly is also a homerun and Mullen is also acceptable.

I left off Kelly because I don't think he's a realistic candidate (no interest in us). I don't have any intel indicating that to be true, but I also don't have any intel showing he has any interest whatsoever.

I'd be disappointed with a Mullen hire. He has had decent success at Moo U., but he still hasn't broken through (even to Atlanta).

Freeze. If he can recruit to OM, what could he do here? And knows how to beat Saban. Need I say more?

I honestly hope it's Herman who gets the call.

Me too.

Every day that goes by I want Herman more and more.

Home run: Kelly

Acceptable: Jimbo, Shaw, a few others, I guess.

Oh shite: Anybody else.

Mind you, this covers the realistic options. Obviously, if Harbaugh suddenly announced he wanted to come here, he vaults to #1 on the list.

Kelly, Stoops, Jimbo

Outside of those three, don't make the change at HC. All are home runs, don't care about acceptable and Oh shite

Nah we didn't forget. We just thought he was the one running the conservative predictable offense

This. We know what Jimbo can do at LSU by just seeing how prolific the offense was in the second part of the 2001 season. I'm convinced the 2006 underperformed in key games because Miles got too involved.

Home run: There isn't one.

More than Acceptable: We had that and pissed it away

Oh shite: Anybody else we hire and we become Nebraska.

Actually that's exactly how it should be considering the amount of money they are paid.
