Les wouldn't go 110-32 if you start counting from this week forward.

Probably right.
It's not the record. It's the inability to fix the offense, the hiring of Steele and BDP. The penalties, the November collapses.
That's what people are tired of. We're wasting talent.

We'll never know for sure. It somewhat makes his tenure here that much more incredible, and goes to prove what SVP said about the fan base being spoiled. We won't get that type of run again for a long time, but we still need to chase that dragon because Les has made us accustomed to it. Reading this board, it's as if we are entitled to it.
At least we'll have that fresh feeling when we go 8-5 one of these years.

THIS!! I bet none of them would bet against that either

Why do people not acknowledge this? Just because this scenario has lead to harder times for some programs didn't mean change wasn't needed

Therefore, he wouldn't last 11 years.

I would venture a guess to say you are completely wrong. Les would lose on average 3 games per and win 8-10. That would be on par with his current record. Make math your friend.

Exactly. That's the point missed in all of this.

This is what many people are missing. The record starts when he took over in 2005 from "the other guy" who was here.
Do some people really feel Miles has LSU on the right path? Do you really think a Miles-led team will go into Arkansas next year and beat Bert? It amazes me. Watch the games again... offense, defense, ST. "We're young". So is almost every other SEC team. Who's fault is it there are recruiting/player gaps? Man, l hardly every bashed him, and I'm just telling it like I see it.
I wish him the best, and it was a good run, but this has gotten pretty old.
Edit: And many may still laugh, but if Bert could recruit La., he would be a much better fit at LSU.

Thank you. Why can't people grasp this concept?
