Mark my words...
I'm thinking 2800 yards 22 TD 5 INT and a 66% completion percentage....

no he wont, even if we brought in a legit qb coach. Harris is another Jefferson my friend.

I didn't see him really improve that much this year to warrant these kinds of stats for next year.
He still is not on target in the short passing game, and lately he is still over throwing a lot. The only balls that are well thrown are his bombs and I think that's more on his receivers.
Gaining confidence with the easy throws is hard because the easy throws are harder for him than the 50-50 shots.

would you stop.
It's not about yards man. It's about having the ability to execute in given situations...or to even be able to understand what down and distance you are in. He has zero qb awareness. Also, I guess you think he is just going to all of the sudden become accurate on short passes and intermediate passes.

Jimbo will see that he makes a nice jump and has a JR 2005ish year

Always going to be next year. You must be thinking they get rid of miles and cam and actually hire some coaches that can develop a qb

Please stop. Harris is held back a little by the system but he hasn't shown anything to allude that he will be a top QB in the confrence.

No. But I could see him going from a C grade this year to maybe a B. That could get us to maybe 10-2 tops, held back by a bad defense.

Don't know if your statement is true but I agree with you, to some extent. He's going to get better, has shown he has ability and is rumored to be a guy who works toward improvement. He doesn't have to be the best for LSU to get a shot at the NC.

Wouldn't go that far. But there is no question the young man has all of the tools needed. And no matter what anyone says he has developed. He is still slow in the read.
Why is that. Cause he is a true sophomore in the SEC. And you need to look at how many true sophomores win championships in the SEC.
He is a stud .

Not sure about the best, but he has a chance to pretty good. The top 3 QB's in the SEC are Dak, Allen, and Kelly. Harris is better than those 3 at this time in their career. Dak was pulled several times in his sophomore year for poor play. Allen was horribe and their team didn't win a game in the SEC even though they had 2 of the best RB's in the league. They got blown out most of the time. Kelly was on the bench.
If you don't think Harris has improved this year over last then you are either an idiot, or dishonest because of your hatred for the coaching staff. Period!

Harris has proven to be only slightly more mobile than Mettenberger, and not nearly as effective as Jennings w his feet, and that's what makes the difference in this league.
Everyone can see that Kelly has an arm, but the thing that sets him apart is his feet. He was more effective yesterday on the ground than Fournette.
Harris provided nothing in that respect the last two games. He was very effective vs Bama, but we stopped using him. Last year, Jennings got all the significant yards vs Bama right up the middle, either on keeps or tucking on pass plays.
If you recall, Jennings did plenty of damage keeping on options vs A&M last year. I'm not sure if Harris is banged up or not, or maybe we just called games like he is fragile, but it sure seems to me that Jennings should be given the start vs A&M.
Our passing game coordination only requires fades and go routes, if the QB is a viable running option. And you beat A&M on the ground 100% of the time.

Are you effing kidding me?

you may be correct. if the fans on this board were in charge, dak Prescott never would have seen the field for MSU. sometimes it takes time to develop a really good qb.
