I don't see our recruiting class changing much.

We probably lose Franks but why would others leave? Why would the defensive recruits leave? They have to be ready to play because all spots should be open for competition. They'll get plenty of play time.

Outside of Franks we have some WRs and a TE and some OL, don't see any of these guys leaving either. I'm 100% positive we are getting a new OC and 75%, a new HC. As long as we make a non shite hire/s, we should retain everybody but Feleipe.

When Alleva replied with no comments when asked last night, it was pretty clear to me it was all but over for Miles.

It will all come down to who the next head coach will be, and how much of. The current staff remains.

Recruits don't just look at the here and now. Miles being on the hot seat now means he is on the hot seat for the next 2 years. Recruits look at longevity too.

Move cameron to the quaterback coach and find the best OC in the country & best head coach in the country available or not money talks & Lsu has plenty.. then we'll keep everyone and pull major surprises.. the recruits will see our immediate urge for change and we're good! First step beat a&m... then the firing has to happen asap!

Les Miles signed 13 coming into his first year when Saban left. Some stayed onboard and others he went out to recruit.

So sure we'll be able to keep the 3 stars and some 4's and maybe get 1 five. If it is a coach the players would be unfamiliar with.

The LSU admin doesn't have to listen to any of us. However, it is my hope they make the big move to retain the class and add a since of stability for the near future. I hope Jimbo is sincerely interested in coming here as rumors might suggest. That could save this entire class. Many of the top guys we're trying to sign would be willing to listen to ex-HC from FSU.

Coaches typically want their own staff. But any coach coming to LSU would be dumb not to have O and Wilson. I'm not familiar with the FSU staff as far as RB and DL coaches go, but I know Tim Brewster is his recruiting coordinator and TEs coach and he's a great recruiter. Get those 3 guys on the same staff and OMG.

We may actually solidify Franks depending upon the hire..

and we may even take this class to yet another level..

That's a huge if. I'd be shocked if we kept 2 of the 3, much less all 3.

FWIW, this is an article by the Advocate. I'm crossing my fingers that regardless of which direction we go, it'll be a quick return to full stands with fans not ready to jump off the bridge.

In my opinion the odds of retaining both Frank Wilson and O next year are currently at 0%. They know they will be looking for a job with this Les foolishness and these guys want stability which LSU does not presently offer.
