bruh, we are just fans. Don't pretend as though you're not at least slightly deflated.

I do not doubt that the "Big Money People" are fed up at this point in time. The rest is just speculation on Hanny and Ott's part right now.

It's 20M total, and despite what you believe the LSU AD department is currently making top 5 money. There is absolutely no way Jimbo could significantly increase revenue. Enough to justify a 20M dollar coaching change.
What if bringing in Jimbo maintains revenue, while keeping Miles would tank revenue?

i was. when i was younger it would've ruined my entire month. now it last about 24 hours
i've already said...if LSU doesn't, at the very least, win the west next year than changes need to be made

So you're going to buy out Les and lure Jimbo with how much? See some details of his current contract. You have to buy him out at $5M and then pay him along with buying out Les Miles' contract. Good luck.
Not only that, but those figures don't even include the assistant clause. The 5M is just for him. His new employer is responsible for the entire contracts of all his assistants, which is why they conceded allowing him an extra 500K to spend on them this year (Jimbo's gripe is not enough money for top assistants at FSU). All told it can add up to as much as 5M, and 10M total.

You have to think that he did coach here for sometime. He has said multiple times that LSU is a special place. They did an article in the advocate on him at a coaching clinic here saying this back in July. My only thing is that if we fire Miles and miss on Jimbo for whatever reason, then we are in trouble.

....or will it be motivation to play hard for your head coach?

I mean, I'm fine. I'm just saying after the last 2 arse kickings, it's hard to get pumped for the OM game. I think most agree.

It's hard to get pumped for the OM game, unfortunately. I'm trying though.
Let me try. LSU is CFP ranked #15 with Ole Miss and Texas A&M left to play and could finish in the top ten with a Sugar bowl matchup with Okla St., Oklahoma, Michigan or Baylor.
OSU has to play MSU and Michigan and Iowa.
The Big 12 elite still have to play each other.
ND still has to play Stanford
The losers of each of these games will fall and all are ranked pretty high with the exception of Michigan.
If LSU takes care of business, they can still finish inside the top 10 heading into next season with all of the deficiencies, on-the-job experience, and injuries they're dealing with.
Of course, if you're a CFP or bust guy, forget what I said. We are where we are and it's not as bad as it seems with this talent pool. I'm especially optimistic because of Harris' growth in dealing with pressure. He stands in the pocket and delivers more than just bailing out. He still has much to work on though.

Choctaw, I need to get back to being a pumper. Please, help me believe again.
Can I ever go back? Is it possible?
