It sounds real to me and they are continuing to say the big donors are fed up and would rather donate their money to buyout Miles instead of donate to the athletic department now. They seem to think things are heating up so much because they have Jimbo lined up and Hanagriff says there would be no coaching search if this happens. Hanagriff also said that they had Jimbo lined up in 2012. Interesting stuff and Hanagriff says he knows they are not happy and there may be a change even if they go 1-1 in the next 2 games.

I'm listening. They did bring up something that always pissed me off about Miles. The 2012 Miles to Arkansas talk was complete horseshite on his and his agents part. Nobody actually believed that he was leaving here. But the man got a pay raise.

Yeah I know it's funny. I wasn't saying I believe this. I was just trying to paraphrase what they were saying. They made it sound like they think this is getting interesting and heating up so much because they have him lined up or someone lined up. Hanagriff said it would not be a coaching search if they moved on which is weird to say.

And Saban is going to Miami to bring the Hurricanes back to national relevance.

Do y'all think Belicheck is going to take over Nebraska once they fire Riley?

You laugh. But it isn't far fetched that Jimbo would want to leave Florida State.

Jimbo would absolutely come to LSU under the right circumstances.

only way i see a change happening is humiliating losses the next two games. i think they give miles one more year with 1-1.

which sucks because i think if you can go get jimbo you do it.

having a program on the rise would more than pay for any buyout we would have to give miles in the long run.

how these next two weeks play out is going to be fascinating. miles has escaped from the fire many times, so i am expecting his team to play hard these final two games.

Didn't he recently sign a big contract extension with FSU?

i guess he'd be the first person to leave a coaching job after signing an extension, right?

Tell me about all this Jimbo Fisher being lined up. How do we know? Has Jimbo expressed interest in LSU? What is this based on? Seems to me that if I was Jimbo, I'd be staying in Talahassee, seeing as Saban isn't in the ACC. I truly and honestly believe that if we fired Miles and turned to Jimbo, he'd laugh at us.

Really doesn't make any sense for him to.

I'm not opposed. I'm just being realistic after watching the coaching searches over the years. Lots of Blue Blood programs struck out. Why is LSU different?

Like I said in the other thread...this stuff is great for radio.

Seat gets hotter if he loses out, but he'll be here next year.
