what will it take to fire gentry?

I understand it's the 11th game of the year but I thing we can all agree that if Monty was still here we would be doing better. We don't have the players to run this up tempo offense. What will it take to fire him? It's his first year I understand but are the pelicans really going to wait till year 2?

If we thought we'd be playing with D-League roster it would have been smart to keep Monty. He'd probably have 3 or 4 wins right now because he'd muddy it up a bit. Gentry was hired to coach a team he's never gotten to coach.

Are you serious? We don't have ANY players!

You can't even make this conclusion yet when 3 rotation players are out and others are limited.

For the system to continue to fail after Tyreke returns and shakes the rust off. If JVG were here and had managed to be 3-7 that wouldn't be proof that his system is better if the goal is winning a championships, that would just mean that his system was better if the injuries were so bad you were starting end of bench players.

Sorry but it wouldn't really matter. The Pelicans will only be marginally better when they get these "great" injured players back. Gentry is lousy. Get used to it.

This team is bad, like 2012 Charlotte Bobcats bad.

They aint that bad. With Tyreke/Cole/QPon coming back they will get anywhere between 30 to 40 wins.

Typically they get a whole season.. I couldn't see them firing Alvin during the year unless they're on pace to become the losingest team in history. I don't see it getting much worse when AD gets back right with Asik right and Tyreke/QPon/Cole
But firing your coach that molded the team into a playoff team in the west for someone who wants to install something that brings us 3 steps back is frustrating as frick, nevertheless. And it sucks

Who is still missing? Reke, Cole, and Pondexter?

Holiday and Asik are playing 10 less minutes per game than they did last season. Davis has essentially missed 4 games

5-20 or worse and it's time to tank

Why fire him? He is proving to be a great Tank Commander.

What's the matter with Gentry's eyes? Always look weird

A bimbo recording him saying something politically incorrect.

Holiday is on a minutes restriction. Excuse granted. Asik is just not being played, so that isn't a reasonable excuse.

And it has to hurt team chemistry

I don't think my liver can handle Louisiana sports if that is the case.

Gentry was a terrible hire period! I felt it then and for sure feel it now! When you have a coach that has been fired as many times as he has, there is something to that!!
