So as far as time table is concerned, the end of this episode is along the same timeline of Glenn falling off the dumpster, and Rick showing up at the Gate. Just my thoughts.

Didn't they sleep for a night in that office building? That would put them a day ahead of Glenn's dumpster diving and Rick making it back to Alexandria.

Speaking of the chase group - were they trying to bring the trio back or just get some kind of "payment"? He mentioned something about something they took with them and the gas it took to find them.

They took the insulin. Now, instead of just owing them for the insulin, they are charging them for the gas. It's basically an apocalypse mafia. I think at least one of the girls was the leader of the group's biatch. Ginger Doucheknuckle was getting with the leader's womarn and is in danger for doing so.

Just my guess.

I'm not really seeing the motivation of them taking Darryl's bike and leaving on their own again. Or they going back to a place they know was horrible? Or do they think two people have any type of decent chance of survival on their own?

Bike is agile and fuel-efficient. Probably planning to run like hell.

I didn't think at all that could be Glenn's help message.

You would have to go back and see how panicked his call was when he was on the dumpster.

If it's not like what was at the end of this episode at all, then you can assume that Glenn is alive and freaked out under the dumpster.

BUT

Like some people said, you also have to figure out the timing. I thought Glenn and Nicholas were at that separate building the same day where they had Michonne and 2 others help them clear it out prior to the hoard reaching there. So, that's the same day that Sasha and Abraham and Darryl got into the skirmish with the rogue pack of people this episode.

And then there was a WHOLE OTHER DAY where they get this message. So it has to be Glenn and it has to be after he's fallen from the dumpster, right?

And this would mean they are heading back to Alexandria a day after Rick had the run-in with the Wolves in the RV.

Also, the new group is not the Wolves.

daryl asked them if they did all this (the burning)
they said yes, when it started they did it and walkers just kpet walking into the fire

if they did it when it started it would have grown back in the roughly 2 years its been.

did i misunderdstand

and the guys in the truck were seemingly just a few feet away from them and in their sight, all of a sudden daryl takes them away and they lose them?

I'd have to rewatch, but it did seem to be implied that was early on. If so, yes, it would have had a lot of new undergrowth. That said, the chances they were lying were pretty high.

Darryl was actually closer to them than the trio. I think they exaggerated the proximity for dramatic effect.

It's all leading up to a vicious character entrance. Someone who has hordes of women, enough brutality to have search parties finding runaways, and requires allegiance and payment for resources. That woman was that guys wife and he "stole" her back. Hmmmm. I bet they use the fuel to draw the herd from Glenn.

They also have those itsy bitty RPG weapons that might come in handy against a group of walkers.

Would also make for a fun way to ignite the fire...

This needs to be posted here since some won't see it in the spoilers thread:

Yeah, the Wolves oddly enough didn't have guns. I thought it was very interesting that they went out of their way to not show us the new group leader who obviously will be a new antagonist probably in the 2nd half of the season. Was it just for dramatic effect? I know I'm curious now. It can't be somebody familiar, can it? Surely Daryl had a better view than the camera angles would suggest. That's one of the few pet peeves I have about TV/Movies, when they try and trick the audience with camera angles. Like somebody is 2 feet away but they can't be seen because they're off camera negating their close proximity and lack of cover.

Or it could be the duo that took off on Daryl's bike. Assuming they took his radio, they saw him use it a few times to try to radio Abraham and Sasha.

It's somebody new, so I'm not sure why they would obscure him. Only the comic spoilers people know who it is and would recognize him from the press information.

OK episode, but two scenes were really poorly done:
-Abe crawling onto the fence and doing nothing in particular with the RPG walker

I think the idea was let's show that he's still on this insane thrill chase to feel alive, he gets nothing out of the thrill of pretend near death, and then feels alive by finding one of the simple pleasures in life with that box of cubans. Because nobody would have scavenged a rocket launcher or cigars this late in the game...

Like you said, poorly done. The thing that felt weird about this whole episode is that a lot of the stuff that happened/was like it was only makes sense a few weeks-months after the ZA, not a few years.

My first thought about the cigars is that they are going to be stale as frick. Thankfully it hasn't rained....

I will say that the walkers entombed in melted glass from a green house that burned was pretty cool and creative, but that was about the only good idea they had this week.
