If their top teams would schedule better OOC, this

Lol wtf
Only Baylor (and K state for the longest time until they played Auburn) has shite opponents.
OU has had FSU, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Ohio State next year
Texas had Notre Dame, Cal and BYU. All respectable this year
Oklahoma State played Florida State last year
TCU has Arkansas and Ohio State on their schedule

Just to name a few.

Totally fair. I actually thought about OU after I posted. However, there is a trickle down when your conference opponents don't play anyone.

Look, I understand schedules are made years in advance, but when people are discussing the merits of a TCU win over Minnesota for 2 years in a row, it hurts perception. Rightly or wrongly, this is kind of a big deal when the playoff is decided by a human committee, despite their efforts to be objective.

Like you mentioned, Baylor has shite opponents now and in the future. Does last night's game mean OU is really good or does it mean Baylor has been overrated all season? Oklahoma State is undefeated and is just now entering the playoff conversation because they've beaten no one except for TCU. But does that mean Oklahoma State is really good or was TCU overrated?
