Got up to go but SxS battery dead. Not walking two miles. Back from getting battery. Waiting for everyone else to get off stands so I can go for a few hours. Hopefully my luck will change.

On the drive home this bastard was just hanging out in a field on the side of the road. Trigger finger was itching watching him. He stood there for a while without a care in the world

ended up seeing a big doe about 8:40. kept looking behind her and was startled. Ended up being a spike annoying her. Got the blood running. The rut is close up here in Searcy County, AR

I shot a tender nanny at 8:30, I saw 8. I'm picking up the Mathews this evening to try to kill a buck. Hopefully this weather keeps them moving.

In the stand with my son hoping something makes an appearance. Deer have quit moving good on our lease. Hardly getting pictures on camera or seeing anything while hunting....very strange.
