Joseph Gagliano

I'm sure they do in some capacity. The sniper van case last year and this year brought it to the forefront that there may be LCN activity in New Orleans. They seem to be closely tied in with the New York families once Marcello passed away. Once the Gambinos and other families were hammered by the Commission Trial, the Gotti Debacle, etc, they seemed to go further into the shadows. I'm sure they still do exist, although their money making enterprises are probably more involved in the internet(porn, gambling, stock manipulation) rather than traditional street rackets which keeps them further out of the eyes of law enforcement.

... Exit at Metairie road, hook a right.

Pass the grocery store.

A russian was executed in the middle of the street there in 2010.

That story never hit the news.

Shouldn't the question be, does the ALLEGED mafia in NOLA still exist?

Everything I've read recently is that there are a few wise guys down in Nola doing book making and loansharking. There is no structured LCN family. I did here the Colombos have a crew down here.

Was in a bar called the copper monkey when these three huge guys in dark suits walked in at 4am wearing sunglasses. They called the girl I was with over and said all drinks were on their boss tonight as long as no one bothered him while he played video poker and didn't stare at him when he walked in.
She said he was a known local Nadia member
