TCU and Oklahoma both already have a loss. Baylor and Okie State are undefeated. A possible scenario could play out like this:

TCU loses to Kansas (2nd loss)
Oklahoma beats Baylor (Baylor's 1st loss)
TCU beats beats Oklahoma (Oklahoma's 2nd loss)
TCU beats Baylor (Baylor's 2nd loss)
Baylor beats Okie State (Okie State's 1st loss)
Oklahoma beats Okie State (Okie State's 2nd loss)

It looks wild, but certainly could happen. I think they are about to cannibalize each other and be left out of the playoffs again.

They did it so that the keep buzz with the committee and to prop up any Heisman hopefuls they may have.

As opposed to scheduling FCS games at the end of the season. Nothing wrong with scheduling good games at the end of the season, every time there's a Big 12 thread, the aTm fans are all over it within minutes.

Mizzou seems to have moved on

it's really funny when the conference does this on purpose because it knows it's the only way it can stay relevant

damn, you are right. They play Kansas next and you know they aren't losing to Kansas. I guess there will be a 1 loss champion.

Because we live in the middle of the SWC 2.0.

No they haven't. They still care way too much about what Kansas thinks about them.

Are we even sure that Baylor doesn't qualify for that? The selection committee sure thinks so once again

No its not. We are completely average in the SEC and we will probably outrecruit all the Big 12 teams (like last year) including the very best ones.

Meanwhile a middle of the road Big 12 team (say Texas Tech) can't recruit for shite in comparison.

It is much better to be a Mickey Mouse team in a real conference because then you have hopes to get the kind of talent needed to move past the Mickey Mouse stage.

Most realistic chaos scenario:

TCU loses to OU
OU loses to Baylor
Ok St loses to OU and Baylor
Baylor loses to TCU and Texas

Basically all home teams win and then the last weekend Texas goes to Waco and causes a 4 way tie.

Still think Baylor, even with the new QB, goes through undefeated and into the playoff as 3 or 4 seed.

Undefeated Baylor is getting in over ND. That's not even debatable.
