Reggie Bush will reportedly sue city of St. Louis over concrete at Rams' stadium

San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush plans on suing the city of St. Louis over the concrete surrounding the field in Edward Jones Dome, home of the St. Louis Rams, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. Bush sustained a season-ending MCL tear after falling on the concrete near the outer wall and his future in the NFL is now in doubt.
Bush has retained the services of attorney Shawn Holley and the KWIKA firm. Bush may have a case, especially given the fact that the Rams have since informed the NFL that they wanted to cover the concrete with something softer following Bush's injury.
Bush's lawsuit will suggest the city of St. Louis, through its Sports Authority and Convention Bureau, was negligent in having the slippery and hard surface close to the field of play. This was not the first issue to take place on the concrete, as Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown also slipped on it and ran into the wall a couple weeks ago. He clearly hurt his shoulder hitting the wall and left the game later with a shoulder injury.

Not admissible, but he probably has a case anyway

He should sue.
They could treat that concrete with a no slip coating very cheap

Is he trying to move the team to LA?

I dk about suing over this but it may be a career ending injury and it is absolutely ridiculous there was concrete on that field. The NFL should have standardized the sidelines by now with minimum requirements.

Seems like players are constantly slipping on the area between the field and stands. Surprised a serious injury hasn't happened before.
Yeah Reggie is loaded but a younger player may not be. He's right to sue if for no other reason than to get stadiums to do something about their surfaces.

Rich people can't sue?
anyone on earth "can" sue.
Most of the time it's dumb people that do though, and this is no exception.

Which is exactly why he should sue, this injury is costing him a shite load of money.
Just because he makes more than most people does not mean he is not entitled to sue over loss of income, that's some occupy Wallstreet logic you have going on there guy

I disagree. It's not Reggie Bush's fault personally that there are poor people. That's just shitty logic.
My wife's employer fricked up her pay check and we use her check to pay the rent, so now I owe the bank $34 and the landlord $25. But perhaps I shouldn't be pissed about it because there are children starving in Africa?
If something is wrong, it's wrong.

This might be hard to prove. Nothing can prove any team would pick him up next year.

He can afford a good lawyer, I wouldn't be surprised if the players union backed him and made this a case about negligence towards player safety

If yes, do you think Reggie Bush may be losing out in future money because of this?
Both answers are an obvious yes, so what exactly is dumb about this?

Good. What kind of moron would have uncovered concrete in a stadium

His suing could cause change and also help prevent other injuries.. even though this is rare, still need to take better precautions I imagine.

Concrete was probably ok with old astro turf. You damn near wore tennis shoes to play. Now field turf requires cleats. Cleats on slick concrete is a bad combo. Add ONE DROP of moisture and you are on your arse.
