You can't keep their pace and they know it. LF7 will have 250 but they don't care. They'll score 24 a half and dare you to run it. But you get impatient and make a mistake now they're up 14 and can't run to keep up.

How does Baylor ever lose?

LSU would keep running it. The Tigers also rarely turn it over. I'm sure Bama, Ohio State and the like do the same thing. Eventually, Baylor's defense gets beaten up while their counterparts get enough stops.

This is word for word what people say about Oregon every fing year

I was getting in argument okie state fan in r/cfb about 2011. He kept saying Blackman would have had 200+ on our secondary then using ole miss vs TCU as a benchmark.

Is that supposed to be a bad thing? Oregon has been VERY successful the past few years and indisputably a top 5 program the past 5 or so years.

I mean watching Baylor, OSU LSU and Bama would run for 400 yards

There are 3 things that can happen with a pass and 2 are bad

Oregon never wins the title because teams get to prepare for them for a month before bowl games. It works great in the regular season

You mean the Oregon that's won a Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, and CFP Semi in the last 3 years? Not a terrible comparison

Nobody's saying Baylor will roll through everyone to the title. I think LSU, Bama, and tOSU all very well could be better. I just don't think it's a sure thing that all 3 are like most seem to think.

It's not a sure thing at all but it certainly isn't a sure thing they score at will on "real" defenses

No they don't because Oregon ran the ball. Baylor doesn't and Batlor has better WR and RB than Oregon as a whole.

I'm telling you if Kendall ever figures out running the ball win big

they haven't won the title because they have played against teams better than them in the championship game

Well they played in the Alamo bowl in 2013

I mean They beat Wisconsin and Kansas State. FSU had like 5 turnovers in 1 quarter.

Oregon is fine, and I think Baylor is good. However, 'chicks love the long ball'

The point is..Baylor can score relentlessly on almost everyone. The defense will give up as many yards and points as LF7 wants to get, but all it takes is one or two stops/turnovers and suddenly you're down 14 in a matter of seconds. Then it becomes pretty damn hard to keep running the ball down their throat.
I don't agree. When they score would it be fast? Sure. But good defenses would get WAY more stops against Baylor than they're used to, IMO.

WTF are they doing? Baylor has not stopped your running game yet, and you decide to abandon the run?
