Out of 33?

Isn't really about good vs bad. However, he does average 13 yp completion, which is good

You'd think his average would be higher then

I said he throws it downfield a lot not that his crappy receivers actually get open and catch it.

The drop by Ginn the other night was a beautifully thrown ball.

Ginn had two huge drops that went through his hands both for 50+ yards gains as did Olsen though he does enough good things to make up for it.

He carries a putrid offense filled with below average NFL talent.

No, I don't think he's overrated.
I'm a huge Cam supporter, but has he carried them?

If MVP candidate is the barometer, he's definitely ridiculously overrated.

The numbers comparison with Kaepernick are all you really need.

C'mon guys, who are you gonna believe?

Those idiots former players who actually had an NFL career who are now claiming that Cam is a legit NFL MVP candidate?

Or the brilliant and utterly unbiased mind of CocoLoco?

Keuchly is the best player on the team. I think we can all agree.

Best? Maybe, but arguable.

More valuable? Not even close. The Panthers won 3 games without Kuechly in the lineup. If Newton misses those same 3 games, they lose at least one, maybe two of those same games.

Yet they still are 22nd in interceptions per drive

How many Panthers games have you watched? Because I can tell you that at least 4 of Newton's interceptions were passes that were put right in his receivers hands and all the did with it was bobble it and put it into the air where the defensive back picked it.

10th in fumbles/drive

So now Cam Newton is responsible for other players fumbling the ball?

Yes, but my point is that his receivers aren't very good.

Here.

Just bask in Cam's inaccuracy...

It's like anyone who thought Chad Pennington was gonna get the MVP over Manning in 2009.

Nobody in this thread is "thinking" that Cam is going to get MVP over Brady in 2015.

Stop building up strawmen to make a point.

If Cam Newton had A.J. Green to throw to...

He'd still throw the ball over his head by 10 feet half the time

No, they just think he's a contender for MVP, which means they think he's close to Brady.

He isn't
