Looks like rain moving into Tuscaloosa with a front. Who do you think rain hurts the most? I don't know but we have at least had experience this year playing in it.

The defenses. Two huge RBs are going to be tough to tackle in wet conditions.

Hurts us I think. Fournette loses a bit of shake in sloppy conditions, and Henry never really had it so it doesn't matter to him.

LSU has the speed advantage, and as the previous poster said, LF excels at his explosive cuts. I think a wet field favors Bama.

I think it's negligible, but I feel like it hurts us more.
I don't really know why, but I would much rather have the game played under a clear sky, on a perfect field.

Could help keep the crowd out of it though.

Us. Miles goes into ultra-conservative mode.

Rumors are circulating on the deep web that Saban got George W Bush to activate the weather machine he used to cause Katrina to ensure rain in Tuscaloosa Saturday night.

Yeah that's exactly what he did against WKU

We seemed to do pretty well in the WKU game.

If it rains all day then stops before game time it probably hurts us more. The field will be slick and will affect cutting and explosiveness. If it pours during the game like it did against WKU I think we have the advantage. Their crowd won't be as much of a factor plus we already have the experience of playing in a hard rain and we know that Harris can pass in the rain. Hopefully, we could cause a few turnovers in the rain.

Soggy fields hurt our blocking schemes and Fournette's cutting abilities. Look at WKU game for evidence of that. But apparently Harris has no problem with ball control as his passing game was not effected with the wet ball.

Depending on how soggy the field I would say it will hurt our running game and yards after catch/contact. That being said, this week has been an opportunity to practice in similar condition for Saturday but doubtful they went outside and risk injury.

I think it actually hurts their offense more than ours though. Stopping Henry will be easier and their QB will probably be less mobile and may cough up the ball. Doesn't give LSU much playing around room offensively. The field conditions may keep the game closer than otherwise.

Just me but I think it hurts us more. Fournette won't be able to cut back like he loves doing(see WKU). They have bigger slower d-linemen that just have to get push and run in straight lines. Henry is a straight ahead runner and not saying that Fournette can't do this as well.

But, it might force us to go to the passing game more and you just never know.
