I'm curious about going, but I'm not sure how distracting it would be with people bringing drinks and food.

This. When watching a movie for the first time, especially one that I'm paying to see in theaters, I don't wanna be eating a meal during said movie. Much less be around other people eating and asking what they just missed because they were looking down at their food

The only way you will be happy going to see a movie is if BR does a theater like canal place. +21 to enter and $15-20 a ticket.

Yeah I don't want to be next to old boy munching on nachos and I can hear him the entire time. Plus drinking a beer I would have to piss about half-way through the movie.

popcorn is the sold in every other movie theater but I've never been disturbed by someone chowing down...how are you eating nachos so loud that it would distract someone a few seats over?

I went a couple weeks ago. The service was really bad, but the food was decent. However, I would go back for the movie experience alone. The seats are giant recliners with leg rests. There was plenty of space to where I wasn't disturbed by the person next to me eating at all.

It's nothing like this and there are no distractions.

Yeah but nachos are covered in sound-dampening cheese with extra silencing provided by chili and japs. Weak arguement is weak

I've seen nachos at other movie theaters and they give you chips and then the dipping sauce on the side.... so no sound dampening cheese to cover and soften the chip...

Canal Place is at the end of Canal in New Orleans by the river. Saks and Brooks Brothers are in it.

Movie taverns are great if they serve high end food and drinks.

The menu at this place is 1 or 2 steps below Chili's and the staff is terrible. Your waiter is comparable to an order taker at Burger King.

I won't be going back to the ones in Baton Rouge

The food is average and on par with typical pub food. Nothing special. Get there early and order before the movie and it's not that distracting. Others in theater are not distracting at all. Seats and space are very nice and plenty of room.

It a nice mix up to the average theater experience. Crowd was typical movie crowd, average folks.
