Looking for about 18 TX rig decoy weights. Im not against DIY if I can save some change. Is there a pre-made brand that has a nice price?

Academy has game winner brand for 20 a dozen

If you're looking for just the weights, check eBay
It's crazy though. You can find swivels, line, and crimps for next to nothing and then you get raped on lead
Here's one example:

Problem is sometimes the weights you buy don't fit the line too well. I had to drill some out one time.

Weights are the expensive part. Old ball bearings

If you're gonna make them yourself, bring a short piece of line with you when you go buy the weights and test the openings to see if it'll slide up and down your line.
I used 2oz egg sinkers for my teal dekes this season (which are admittedly very small dekes) but they worked fine in some pretty damn windy conditions. I rigged up some 3oz weights for my regular dekes but haven't tried them out yet.
The sinkers I got at academy only slid onto the line about 50% of the time. The ones I got at superior were perfect tho.

Just bought 2 sets on Academy website for $26 with free shipping. I didnt need anything too fancy, these should fit the bill.
Thanks for everyones input, these things are apparently an unreal money maker for companies.

Good choice. I have these for about 6 dozen decoys, they seem to be holding up well so far.

This is the way I roll. I have some molds and I still have a few hundred lbs of wheel tire balance weights laying around. Used to mold for bottom weights for offshore fishing too, and break off weights for live baiting tuna.

Academy seems to be the cheapest. They go on sale every now and then. Not sure the brand, but they work fine.

Those aren't texas rigs... just overly complicated traditional rigs.
Eta: I've got about 10 pounds of lead saved up from old strap weights and and other random sized egg sinkers. I just don't have the mold or way to melt the lead. We need to team up on this.

Do be very careful with melting lead, as the fumes are poisonous, particularly to kids. Do it outside with a strong breeze if you can help it.

I was about to order two dozen last night when I realized they weren't Tx rigged
