I just use rolled up strap weights on my homemade ones. 3 or 4 oz is the most you need unless you're hunting in heavy current. 3 oz egg sinkers aren't too expensive.

Nice. I've got some of the same ones. They were actually 72" ones that I ended up cutting in half

Yeah the picture is 48" traditional, these that I received are 72" Tx Rig.

72" is a little excessive. Jim, did you just cut down and re-crimp a new loop?

Clyde we still need to capitalize on the lead weight game though.

Yes. I crimped a new loop on the end withy the weight. Then crimped a weight on the end that had the original loop. So I got 24 out of a dozen basically. Just bought crimps and a dozen strap weights
