My brother is looking to buy a semiautomatic shotgun, but he doesn't want to break the bank . He wants something that won't jam up also . Any thoughts ?

What will he be using it for?

Some duck hunting and shooting skeet

Just get an 870 express and get good with it.
I love my Black Eagle 2, but I'll never get rid of my old 870.

Is there a better value than the A-300? $600 for a semi auto Beretta, that's a bargain.

A300, he won't be disappointed.

best duck shotgun made - ever
stay away from the A400 Beretta
The A300 Outlander is a solid value
I ditched my A400 and liking the new SBEII - looking forward to this season with it.

The OP asked about an autoloader not a single shot.
OP: Outlander or Affinity.

The only correct answer here is the molot vepr 12 with 20 round drum.

What is the OB's opinion on the Remington 11-87 in 12 gauge? I'm in the market also and don't want to break the bank either.

I would get a used 1100 before a new 11-87. The 11-87's have a bad reputation for being hit or miss. I've never heard of a junky 1100 that was decently taken care of.

Search my user name an 1187 – nope nope nope
There are great semi options out there for 12ga and an 1187 is not one of them ... neither is a moss
A300, Franchi, stoeger etc find one that fits you
