Stop drinking that Coca Cola poison and you can avoid them. Also, while you're at it, stop being fat.

I had one hit me Saturday morning. Pain made me throw up.

It finally passed today.

Aside from drinking lots of water an taking pain pills, get some Azo or Uribel.

Hope yours passes soon. Wouldn't wish that pain on anyone.

Mine got stuck between my kidney and my bladder.

They had to extract it.

They used existing body openings to retrieve it.

The only thing that hurt worse than the stone was when then nurse ripped out the stint.

Pain . . . so much pain.

Headed to the urologist at 3:45, I've been getting kidney stones for about a year don't drink beer or coke. My primary care doctor said its from working during the summer time and not drinking enough water.

Some amateur doctors will tell you that kidney stones are all your fault, and it's possible your diet can contribute: caffeine, carbonation, sodium most certainly do contribute, but, it can be hereditary as in my case. I'm not overweight, I eat healthy, watch my sodium, don't drink coffee, and limit my carbonation(2 a week max). I've had 7 different attacks. It's terrible.

I take a supplement now, recommended by my urologist, and it has been effective thus far.

Ask your Dr. for Toradol. It is an anti inflammatory that will give you 100% relief in about a half an hr.

if you are not a big coke/beer drinker etc etc, you probably got the stone due to dehydration.
