Braves are setting themselves up to make a long run (similar to the 90's) for the Division title and World Series Champs. That is if all these minor leaguer's they are hoarding pan out.
Can always use them as trade bait for seasoned players also.

It was a great move based on everything we eventually got back.
But the argument was more over what his dollar value is.
Also, it's been pretty well documented that the brains behind all of this, Coppolella, wanted to build around Heyward. It was not his decision to move him.
Doesn't matter now though and I'm just glad we've made out as well as we have.

I think the offer on the table was Soler +. Not sure what the plus would have been but I really like Soler so I would have been fine with it. I definitely prefer the deal we got though.
