"On the line, we have six young guys, rookies," Jordan said Thursday. "Then we've got a couple of outside linebackers that are rookies. Corners that are rookies. Honestly, the organization must feel pretty strongly about (the youth). I can only hope that we're turning in the right direction with this team. We're 0-3 right now, so it can't be too right. At this point, we've got to find a way to make an immediate impact."
After this, the rookies go out and make an impact, while Cam Jordon gets all of 1 tackle and 0 assists. Jordan reminds me of Will Smith, always close but no cigar.

He should work on not over pursuing and containing his edge a bit more!

I've been meaning to watch him more closely in the games, but I keep getting drunk. Anyway, I'm wondering if he is seeing more double teams this year without junior. There really isn't another threat on the line anymore.

It's pretty obvious why the coaches trust the youth.
Jordan lost his buddy, I imagine.
He'll get over it.

If I were Jordan, all my interview questions would end with " I got paid, so I don't give a shite"

Is it just me, or does Cam's new hairstyle make him look like Bunz from Bootycall?

And this right here is why college is soooo much better than the NFL. Nobody really gives a shite

It looks that way. Cams numbers are down from previous years the same way Hicks just evaporated from the line. I wish someone would ask him the same question after last night.

He has a sack, 2 QB hits, 11 QB hurries, 7 stops for loss, and two passes batted down.
He's by far our best and most consistent player on defense.

are you so stupid to think that there are no college players that dont give a shite about anything but themselves?

This is the type of thread that really exposes the people who don't know jack shite

If it looks like Jordan isn't producing, it's because he's getting double teamed constantly and he's not a speed rusher (i.e., he doesn't contain by himself amazingly).
But this whole "Sacks are the only measure of pass rush" myth needs to die.

He also had a QB hit, 2 more hurries, and a Stop for a loss
He's consistently good for this defense and shows up to play every week.

right! He has been the best player on the defense and having a great year so far. Haters gonna hate, I guess.

Cam Jordan needs to zip it and embrace the youth movement or he will find himself shipped out of town.
He isn't above being traded and his play since he made a probowl hasn't justified his salary

cam jordan is a pretty solid de when he's containing his position, he's not an elite pass rusher though IMO. Need that coming from other guys on roster.

Umm, no but its definitely not as rampant as the NFL and 99 out of 100 people would agree with that. So maybe, just maybe, youre the stupid one, since we're calling names like 4th graders

Maybe you should go post that on the rant and keep that crap off saints talk where we obviously love the nfl and the saints

So sticking your head in the sand makes it not true??
I love the Saints too, but it doesn't change the fact that a lot of the NFL's players lack passion and love money.
