Outdoor wise, did a favor for a friend at their boat house, does that count.
Otherwise just made some $ and killed time.
I like this time of the year cause I like theses threads, makes me remember.

Hunted Thursday and Friday. Only deer I saw was a bedded doe that I jumped while walking to the stand. Went to soccer game this morning for Lil demon #1 then worked on the four wheeler. Soccer and baseball games tomorrow.

One of the best single days fishing inshore yet... targeting reds. My arms and shoulders are sore, and will be hell tomorrow. I bet we brought 100 reds in the boat between 3 people. Most of them were 14-16" but the action was incredible. Not a single hardhead or gaftop was caught.

We took home 3 man limit of reds, 3 man limit of drum, two flounder and 9 sheepshead. I'm not looking forward to cleaning all these fish tomorrow.

ETA: pics will wait till tomorrow

Reb Beer, were at?

Just working on the camp some. Wind blowing it's arse off and there is no way I can get 20' sheets of metal roofing up without blowing my arse off a 8/12 roof line.

Wanted to case the rats this morning, but the wind is blowing as I type this.

Got a limit of bass out of school board canal. All small, maybe the 1lb range.

Wind was brutal and water was ugly.

Thanks.

Got the front side of the roof on today. Dam wind kicked my arse. Not easy for a old man, but had the wife out there helping. Many beers after.

Had a great weekend up in the tree. I passed on a younger 7pt that would have been my first bow buck for a chance at one of two 120-130" bucks in the area. Ended up seeing the big 8pt an hour later but there was never a shot, he stayed away

The two bucks I was hoping to see:

This is the one I saw, but he stayed 60yds out through lots of brush
