Yea but was that his first or second term in IM3?

I can't recall if that was ever mentioned in the movie.

Basically I'm just trying to figure out if we will be seeing more of him or not.

I was wondering that as well. I feel like some sort of President spoke after the Battle of New York.

Also, it'd be hard to imagine a President's approval rating going up with all these powered people around...which I guess what this all about.

Side note....seeing the politics within the MCU would make for an interesting show.Especially with all IPs (inlcuding Namor,F4/FF and X-Men)

a West Wing style show would be awesome.

I think they only showed a couple of senators at the end of that. I remember there was the one dude asking where the Avengers had gone b/c he looked a lot like terrorist anchor baby shriek owl Texas US Rep Louie Gohmert.

I guess finding its groove was a bad way to phrase it. But I know a big complaint about the show was that it was set in a universe with super powers but rarely ever had super poqers on display. I have always liked the idea of regular people still trying to be useful and work in a universe where they are clearly overpowered but I saw several blogs talk about how the show needed some needed firepower.

I agree that ever since Shield fell after WS the show has been great and I am pumped for this season. I can't see Lash as the season long threat so I wonder if anyone is pulling his strings.

Only real complaint is that they just did other secret government agency last season and now it looks like we are getting it again.

well it is SHIELD...as a large entity they have to be battling someone else.

If A.I.M ever resurfaces or the 10 Rings that'd be sweet.

Anyone else think there's a possibility that the leader of the "villain" faction is actually Abigail Brand, the director of SWORD? They never really revealed her real name .

Of course if she gets hit with terrigenesis and comes out with green hair...

Yeah. I enjoyed the whole rescue scene but I was kind of hoping Fitz would get stuck there with her. I guess its more budget friendly for us to just see the other planet in Simmons flashback scenes.

As always. He's gathered his soldiers, now he's secured the financial backing. Hydra will be more of an arch enemy to Shield than ever now.

I would think we will learn more about this mystery planet in the future from Simmons.

I think you can definitely see where this show will help tie into Civil War.

Curious if Hydra will ever be big in a movie again though. If Ward is in charge right now, i doubt he brings that role over into a movie, and i doubt Red Skull comes back to interact with Ward. But maybe Ward helps build Hydra back up and ole Red Skull comes back to take the lead.

And given the fact that all they need is a guy in a red mask, they can cast anyone as the Red Skull. With that in mind I would not be shocked if they did teaae bringing him in.

I'm happy Simmons was recovered but I wish Fitz had remained on the alien planet. For some reason that guy annoys the heck out of me.

I'm already bored with the Grant Ward storyline of his rebuilding HYDRA. Granted, it may build into something worthwhile later but the retread feeling of it... meh.

The Inhuman angle is awesome and I'm very interested to see what Simmons encountered on that other world.

Did they ever name the jailed Asgardian from Ally McBeal? ("Elliot Randolph" is not an Asgardian name :p)

Anyone else think the planet will be classified as Attilan? I wish they would have spent more time there, hopefully they keep it a part of the show. It seemed odd that they found Simmons so easily.

And the stuff with Ward is great. Him going after Mays loved ones really adds to his villain creds. I'm always in the belief that Marvel needs Hydra. As posted, I really hope they bring in the Red Skull. He seems like he is done with the MCU for now, so put him on loan with tv. They do a great job with crossing movies and tv so they don't have to worry about the same issue DC has.

The Asgardian is a great character. They need more of him. Both episodes he has been in has been great. He brings a unqiue energy to the show.

They said she saw the flair they shot thru first, but I didn't get what was holding her back from getting to Fitz. He was tethered but why was she struggling to hold on to him?
I really like the direction they're taking Fitz. Losing Simmons again really toughened him up.

She had been stranded on that planet for 3 - 4 months, she was probably really weak and drained (not to mention... how did she survive all that time?!) and it makes for good suspense TV
