Victory was secured. No need to chance something stupid happening.

Now...if was against a Petrino or Tuberville team, fake the knee and pitch if for another TD.

Good...Keep him hungry to break that record. Pull him after 249 yds this week...then let him break the 250 mark at USCe.

Miles is all class. Love it. Remember the Ole Miss game from 4-5 years back when we took a knee on the 1 yard line for 4 straight plays to keep from making the score worse? He is our coach. Love the class. Question his coaching skills all you want and I will probably agree. Question his character and you don't know what character is.

Accidentally down voted you. I totally agree with what you said. Les wanted the first down to secure victory. Then it victory formation.

We were a 24 point favorite and didnt cover.....I dont think one more Touchdown would have been considered running up the score

I'm not certain if I'm suppose to provide a serious response or not.

Matt Mauch got hurt at the swamp, with a 30 point lead. Little Nich was the coach.

Because we needed a first down to ice the game. Les went to victory formation so that LSU wouldn't score.

Worse, Ben Wilkerson blew out his knee on an unnecessary dive play called by the Infallible Coach Saban. It was the last play in a blowout victory, and we could have easily kneeled the ball for the win. Instead, we lose our center and he never fully recovered.

What is the Rant's opinion on this

He's just getting started. I don't know anything about Eastern Michigan, but they're in trouble. If 3 teams with big conference credentials couldn't keep him out of the 200 range, he'll get all the yards he wants out of them, and more. Think about this - had he played against McNeese - he could be going for 1000 yards this Saturday - IT'S BARELY GOING TO BE OCTOBER.

We are watching history. Individual carries/games here and there are of no moment (:fingerscrossed:) as long as he doesn't get hurt.

This was what Leonard Fournette said about it-
A smiling Fournette held court on the field after the game. He laughed and joked around. The 230-pounder said he didn’t realize how close he was to the single-game rushing mark — and he didn’t care, either.

“That doesn’t bother me. If it comes later down the line, it comes,” he said.

In a previous game at the post game press conference, CLM saud he had no idea what the record was nor how close LF7 was to breaking it. Claims he gave no thought to it at all.
After Syracuse, he knew LF7's yards and lamented that he should have been around 330 without the penalities.
I think they will feed LF7. He'll get that record and many others.
