I would hope any coach would think that way.

Fournette probably thought the same thing about them.
But, they whiffed and he didn't.

Glad he was honest. Every coach is going to feel that way. Most won't admit it.

Refreshingly blunt. Not many coaches would say what they really think in this PC age.

Syracuse never quit. We're a better team for playing them.

I listened to his presser.

He has the attitude that you would want in a coach.

I like this coach.

A coach being honest and telling it like it is, (I wonder what that's like)

I agree 100%. They were physical, hyped up & left it out on the field. Excellent preparation for the upcoming road gauntlet.

I just hope it doesn't become a "Hack-a-Shaq" situation as the season progresses. There were a few times when the play was over and the whistle had blown, yet players were still piling on.

I'll blame Ritter & crew because he's a cheating SOB but hopefully LF doesn't incur an injury in a similar situation.

Considering the dirty play we've seen in recent years from Auburn & Mississippi State, nothing would surprise me.

I agree. They are better than I thought, too. Salty bunch. A lot of our fans thought we'd go up there and they would just bend over at home because we're LSU. A lot of our fans are stupid.

Refreshingly unfiltered glimpse into his thought process. I can tip my hat to this.

I too am concerned. From here on out everyone will be trying to hurt LF7.

I hope Les will be work on ways to protect him. Sometimes he needs to give it up. Like when SU had 6 or 7 surrounding him.
That's a way for something bad to happen.

Refreshingly honest. On a similar note, I like reading anonymous comments by SEC coaches about their opponents before the season starts, since that's usually the only way we hear what they really think. In public, it's just the usual "they're a great team" coachspeak.
