I swear to Christ, the OT has become just a tired useless rehash of Facebook.

I'm mid 50's and I've done ten frame in my head all my life. I just never knew it had a name until my kids brought it home.
I just don't get the complete hatred for Common Core. This is 2015 and times change. When I was in school the US was a laughing stock for education and we were all idiots. Over the years the curriculum has gotten harder and more advanced and my 9th grader is taking my freshman LSU math and also my fathers 1947 sophomore LSU geometry. (we found his textbook not long ago). Now everyone complains because the kids have too much homework, backpacks are too heavy ( my kids is 27 lbs) not enough time for year round all star club baseball.
We can't have our cake and eat it too. Or can we?
