Wife and I are going for our anniversary and my 30th bday. We stayed at the Wynn a few years ago and are staying there again this year. I need to make reservations for dinner 3 nights, one needs to be at the Wynn since we have a resort credit to use. Would love to go somewhere Asian inspired one night too. Looking for casual to nice, the type of place that doesn't mind a golf shirt, if you know what I mean. What yall got? And as always, appreciate yalls help

Lotus of Siam, one of the best Thai restaurants in the United States.

My wife has to go every other year or so for a convention and we probably enjoy the Venetian and Wynn best for hotels. Our favorite meals were probably at Lotus, as others have said, and Scarpetta was fantastic. I can say Public House wins our vote for every meal not dinner. We've done several of the steakhouses and they were all solid but none stood out over the others. Parasol Down in the Wynn won for our favorite cocktail.
I'd be remiss to forget that place in the Wynn/ Encore that was always open late for drunk food. It always seemed to do us right but it may be fond just because, "it was late," sorry, the name escapes me.
There's a liquor store in a strip mall you can walk to from the Wynn and a taqueria of sorts there that does some mean hangover food as.
Favorite show so far has probably been Absinthe...
Hope this helps...

I also vouch for Lotus of Siam if you don't mind going off the strip.

By all means, see if you can get into Kabuto which is a short taxi ride away. I won't go to Vegas without eating there (mostly because sushi in LA just doesn't do it for me). If you've seen Jiro Dreams of Sushi, and are at all inspired by it, this is probably the closest in the US that you will get to that.
Most people don't know that there's a Chinatown in Las Vegas. Lots of good food choices, but the fish markets are a tease for me because I have no way of cooking while there. Tanks and tanks of live fish, live crab, spot prawns, etc.

Bumping this thread. Wife and I are taking the kids out there this week. Definitely hitting the Thai place. Any other can't miss kind of places out there?
