This may be the dumbest post I've seen the past 2 days, and that's saying something. Why do you feel MSU is/was an inferior team? Top #25 rankings? Number of highly recruited athletes? This is why they play the game.
Oh my. Are you really saying MSU is not inferior (i.e., equal) to LSU in terms of talent? Really?
If that's what you're arguing to support such a close game, I just don't have anything else to say to such nonsense.

after a win. not only a win but a win on the road, against a ranked opponent. led by a QB who absolutely destroyed us the year before
...against a team that we were considerably more talented than.
We nearly lost this game because of poor offensive playcalling. We had MSU on the ropes and wouldn't finish them off. Harris had a great opportunity to develop chemistry with his receivers and confidence and Les shut him down. It was frustrating to watch. Run-run-pass-punt will be a losing strategy in several games this season. What makes it irritating is watching the game we all got a glimpse of how good this team can be. We don't want to see the talent on the field limited by Les and Cam's offense.
Glad we won.

Where did I say MSU is not inferior? I'm asking to explain what makes you think they are.

Yeah, I can't believe a game in college came down to a last second field goal. Unreal. That never happens.
that's the whole point ding dong. it should have never come to that point.
not only did he miss it once, but he missed it TWICE
this was setting up just like the notre dame game at the end... hard to watch LSU dominate the whole game up 21-6 and then almost lose it at the end.

We are tired of destroying teams early then going in to full blown scared shitless turtle mode and letting our opponents come back and have a chance to win.
State should never have been in that game last night.
Amen.

BECAUSE LSU HAS THE BEST TALENT IN THE NATION AND MISSISSIPPI STATE DOESNT EVEN BELONG ON THE FIELD OR SAME CITY AS LSU!

BILL BELICHICK SUCKS BECAUSE HE ALMOST LOST ON THE GOAL LINE OF THE SUPER BOWL LAST YEAR…..

I believe the entitled fans you're talking about are bandwagon fans.
Any win on the road in the SEC (especially against the West) is a hard earned victory

MSU has the most experienced QB in the SEC playing at home. If they were truly inferior don't you think 28 carries to the best RB in the country would result in mmore TDs. Inferior would be a Div-1AA team that took the great playcaller Malzahn to OT, or Toledo a mid major that beat Bielema at home.

Difference between bama and LSU fans ? LSU fans accept mediocrity when bama fans wont allow Shula experiment to EVER happen again. LSU accepts mediocrity .
Posted on 9/14/15 at 1:24 pm to Purplesx
and how do you not accept it?

some people might've forgotten, but there was a time when we (LSU) weren't that good at football
And bread used to be a dime. It's not now. We expect to pay more just like we don't think it's ok to wallow in mediocrity because your sorry arse remembers when LSU wasn't very good and bread was cheap.
Posted on 9/14/15 at 2:09 pm to say when
We were up 21-6 and cruising to an easy victory. Miles made the decision to go ultra conservative and MS St. rolled off 13 unanswered points while our D was put on the field time and time again. Why change your O at the start of the 3rd Qtr when it is picking apart your opponent? It has cost us games in the past and it was incredibly close to doing so on Saturday. Why play afraid? Why try to do just enough to hope that a kicker doesn't make a FG to beat you in the final seconds? Balanced offense was 21-6. Ultra-conservative offense was 0-13.
