Still very early against Buffalo, but they look absolutely lost on offense.

me either. His pocket presence looked awful against Temple. He made Mettenberger look like Vick back there as well.

Their coach is a fraud who capitalized on the East completely falling apart.

Flipped over to this game to see just how bad the Penn State O-line is.

Yeah. I think they'll be bad for a few more years. They're just now feeling the effects of the sanctions. I think they were limited to 75 scholarships in '13 and 65 until this coming recruiting class. You can't make that up quickly.

B1G apologists told us they'd be competing for national titles

You need to quit listening to the voices in your head rocket. I don't remember anybody saying they would be competing for MNC's anytime soon. It would be nice if they (and Meechigan) were more competitive but I don't see that happening for another 3 years.

Yes I know it's always three years and then three years later, it's three more years.

By losing a superior coach (O'Brien). So by B1G, you mean PSU fans?

Agree. A few years after a sanction like that kicks in, you're going to have a much smaller number of upperclassmen. Young team with minimal depth = struggles on the field.

That might be why O'Brien ejected. He saw this coming.

Everyone with any sense knew deep down it's going to take more than a year to recover. Even though the sanctions are over, the fact that we basically have no upperclassmen is going to hurt for at least another two years. Now... do I think Franklin is right for Penn State? No. I didn't like the hire from the get-go. We need to sack him and hire Greg Schiano like we should have last year.
