Any shot vs. NE w/o Pouncey, Bell, and Bryant?

Only way I can see them beating NE is if they score 40+ because that defense is gonna get destroyed, as much as I hate to say it.

I was surprised to see that Boykin has been dropped to CB4

I didn't read too much into that. He's gonna play a lot.

I think it'll be a close game and it depends on the availability of the Patriots skill players

The one matchup I love is brown against a depleted pats secondary.

This game has serious Gronk potential. I dunno how Pittsburgh is gonna even think about covering him.

I'm curious to see how the pats play it

Malcolm butler is our best corner, and they love him, but I don't know if he's ready for island duties against brown. So I could see him covering the WR2 with TBrown and Mccourty shadowing Antonio

Pat's D isnt anything special. And their offense is missing some pop at WR. I think it will be a close game

That matchup is a lost cause. If Ben has time, brown is in for a huge game. That doesn't mean I think it will be a track competition.

Yeah Brown will get his, I'm not doubting that. Just their matchup strategy tells me more about how they feel about the corners

they should be ok but don't have the lockdown corners or Wilfork in the middle. Different team

Easly and Malcom Brown in the middle is gonna be very different but I don't think that's bad. What they lose in Wilfork taking up blocks they gain in pass rush. Easly has looked beastly during camp/preseason

Add in elite linebackers and guys like Nink and Sheard at DE, and it'll be fun to watch

ETA and I somehow forgot Chandler jones

Pats probably starting both rookie guards and Wendell at center. Run game could get ugly

There's only two ways this season is going to go for the Patriots:

They rape and pillage a path of destruction through the NFL and in the face of Roger G. or they fade into obscurity. There will be no middle ground.

As a Pats fan, I will not be surprised and will be delighted if they shove their boot so far up the naysayer's rectums that they choke on the Pats shoelaces.

Oh - I guess that means Pats over Steelers.
