Nothing against one of my favorite movies, but it seems like since it was so well made it can't be touched. And it's been almost 40 years

Great whites in general generate a lot of interest and primal fear

Would a general rogue shark get ur interest ?

We really need a CGI shark movie like we need a hole in the head. No. Some things can't be recreated. Some things belong solely in their time and place, and that is what makes them great.

We just had three Sharknado movies not to mention all the Sharktopus, Megashark, Two Headed Shark, etc crap from Syfy.

I actually say yes. With all the original movies that should've been left alone, I would love to see a new version of Jaws. Done well and not over the top CGI of course, but dramatic, intense and with a stellar cast keeping as much to the original as possible but putting a new fresh take on it.

frick every bit of this post.

No, we don't need a new Jaws.

In fact we don't need a "new" anything.

What we need is original fricking ideas, not reboots and movies based on fricking toys or board games.

I'd be down for it if it starred Chris Pratt as Hooper.
