LSU season ticket holders will gobble up most if not all of the allotment {heard it will be less than 14,000}, some of these will pop up on stubhub/other re-sale sites....but, at a significant mark-up.

In that part of Wisconsin, Appleton is known to have a pretty solid nightlife (relatively, obviously). It's in a region known as the Fox Valley Area and encompasses several towns and a city (Appleton).
In any case, a lot of people going to Packers games on weekends stay in Appleton and there are typically shuttles (from bars, hotels, etc.) that take people 30 miles up to Green Bay for more pregame festivities prior to kickoff.
I'm not sure if these will be up and running for this game, but I'd imagine they will given how big of a game it'll be for the state of Wisconsin next year.

Anyone thinking about driving from LA to the game? Looks like a good solid two days of driving each way. Was thinking leave very early Thursday, drive all the way to Chicago. Spend Friday fooling around Chicago, maybe God will be great and there will be a Cubs game in town. Late Friday drive up closer to GB, do the game on Saturday. Sunday drive back maybe to Memphis or so, spend night, rest of the way home on Monday.
Any ideas if the game will be a 11 am game or it actually might be a night game because of TV?

This isn't an "away" game. It's a neutral site game.
If the same process is in place for ticket allotment that was used in Jerry World, it will work as follows:
1. Green Bay suite/club season ticket holders get first dibs on buying seats. I'm sure sponsors and what not are included in this allocation as well. ~20k seats.
2. LSU/Wisc split the remainder. 25-30k seats each school.
It'll be a tough ticket, but it's also an expensive and long trip, so that will limit the demand some what. Wisconsin fans will probably command a lot of the secondary market since they aren't incurring real travel expenses.
Got rooms at Hyatt on Main as well.

I'm bringing my camper. Does anyone know anything about campgrounds in the surrounding area?

There will be plenty of tickets on the td ticket exchange this summer for face value. Season ticket holders will over order or not be able to go. Only buy from the Stub Hub type sites if you want to over spend.
