Best advice i ever had. Quit my job and moved. It was a rough few months but 10 years later i know that was the best thing i ever did.

I kind of agree. As for me, I make my living in BR. If it wasn't for that, I'd go live somewhere else. BR just doesn't have a whole lot to offer, and the areas in which you could feel somewhat safe are shrinking. I really don't see where BR will ever get much better. Even with the revamped downtown area you still have go through shitty parts of town to get there.
