What is so incredible is people are forgetting about Braxton Miller. That is where the shenanigans with any offensive set is going to come from. Because they wont change personnel and then run a crazy trick play.

I agree. They say his shoulder isn't perfect, but I have no doubts he can throw the ball better than just about any receiver in America.

Outside of some sort of goalline or Tebow package, what would you use Jones situationally in?
I would use him in exactly in those situations--short yardage. Nobody could stop him in the playoffs, he is automatic within 2-3 yards.
If you don't believe me, go back and watch tOSU vs. Alabama and Oregon. The thing that kept tOSU's offense on the field was Cardale Jones' size and power in short yardage situations. frick his arm. He is actually a dumbshit throwing the ball. His best asset is his size.

"We'll announce the starter when the first guy takes the snap," Meyer said during his Monday news conference. "It's still very close, both guys are performing very well.
"If it was different skill sets, we probably would [need to decide], but they're not. If you look at J.T.'s game plan when he was our quarterback and Cardale's, it was very similar. There's a chance they'll both play, as well, so that hasn't really [been a factor] with our mindset with a game plan on offense."

I tried hard to think of a similar prior situation, and the only one that I could think of was when Brady took over from Bledsoe and the Patriots never looked back.

JT Barrett in college. I actually don't even find it a hard decision. I get Jones had a nice playoff run and may be a better pro.. but JT Barrett seems better suited for Urban in college.

Cardale will be a better pro, not sure about college.
Much higher ceiling but also not as efficient, in college there's always a chance Jones will have one horrible game.
