I'm thinking he has a Randy Moss with the Patriots type season. Not saying he puts up those numbers but I think now that he has a legit QB for pretty much the first time ever plus Hilton opposite of him I feel a big year coming.

Am I crazy? Is he too old?

He's never posted double digit TDs in his prime and this is his last chance at a Super Bowl where he'll be Luck's third option. He's still a solid flex.

I like him. I think he'll be a possession receiver in that offense, not really a deep threat like the Randy Moss comparison. Defenses are going to have to provide help over the top on Hilton.

He is younger and a better player than Reggie Wayne was in 2012 when he had 195 targets and caught 100+ balls for 1300 yards. Even last year, as dreadful as he was, he still had 112 targets.

I think you could be right about his TDs staying down, but it's a hard thing to predict, but I'm not buying that he is the 3rd option in this offense. If he stays healthy, he'll have the most targets and catches on this team.

Fleener, Allen or Moncrief. Luck has his trust in both his TEs. Moncrief is a physically gifted WR and should see a bump in his production.

Johnson will probably take some adjusting to begin the season. He could very well be the #2 option but I like what I saw from Fleener especially going forward.

I see him getting targets but mostly as a posession and red zone WR. Yards will be down but TDs will be up.

hes a freak athlete, 1 year removed from a 110 catch 1400 yard season with Ryan Fitzpatrick

Hes a top tier WR2 with potential for low WR1 numbers IMO

Donte Moncreiff and Dwayne Allen

the 23 TD season? no

but somewhere between his next 2 years in NE, maybe.

69/1008/11
83/1264/13

I say 80-85 catches, 1050-1150yds, 9-11 TDs

Allen and Fleener combined for 16 TDs last year (throw in another 2 by Doyle) . Combined, the TEs in Indy had 171 targets. Johnson hadn't caught 8 TDs since 2010. Allen is kind of a TD or nothing with about 50 targets and only more than 60 yards in one game.

While I may not agree that Allen will ge more targets than Andre Johnson, the TEs combined certainly will. If you get top 12 Wr numbers out of Andre Johnson you won the fantasy lottery.

There is no chance in hell Fleener 2nd in targets on the Colts

And they lost a combined 184 targets from WR in the offseason. Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks.

Andre Johnson is on another level from them. He's the clear cut #2(or 1b, even) and will eat into Ty Hilton's targets. He's going to have a nice season. I like Moncrief too, but he's going to be the #3 guy.

As a TY owner I think Johnson will have more catches. TY will have more yards and scores. Both will be top 15 WRs by season's end.

I wouldnt be surprised. A bunch of dudes in that offense will eat. I think Johnson may be top to bottom the best WR Luck has had yet. His WR's have always been on the smaller side, he's going to like throwing to a bigger target like Johnson. I think Johnson sets a career high in TDs too.

I have no arguments he will get top 2 targets for Indy, I'm only saying he won't amass WR#1 numbers this season. The TE's in that offense steal too many targets.

You would be lucky to see top 12 TD numbers from Hilton and he is going to lead the team in targets for WRs because of how much Luck loves his TEs.

both top 15? Nah.

I could see andre in the top 20, but inside the top 15 seems high

Mate, weren't Jordy and Cobb top 15 or close to it? These fellas have Luck throwing them the ball. They will get the majority of the targets. Guys like Fleener and the other WRs will be solid but this is like Harrison and Wayne all over again.

I'm not saying its not possible for a duo to do it, but take a gander at the WR list and tell me who he finishes over.

they throw a ton, i just dont think the TEs really tip the iceberg one way or another, in terms of their other WRs.

Reggie Wayne couldnt get open last year, NIcks sucked, Moncrief was a rookie, so it was basically TY and the TE's, with Bradshaw out of the backfield.

There is opportunity for another WR to go nuts in that offense. Esp a versatile one like Andre Johson. Hilton will be more of a deep threat, and I think Johson becomes the security blanket. The TE's should have a nice year but they wont really take a ton away from the others considering they'll throw it 630 times.
