Drew Brees wins again.
ETA: The teams are arranged by who has the most salary cap left to the least. With the Jags having the most, and the Saints having the least.

I guess it was too much to ask to have a Packers or Patriots fan start this thread to laugh at the disparity.

It was back loaded... You're acting like his cap hit has been this high

He's the highest paid player in league history unless Rivers just beat him

Damn, Charles Johnson makes that much.

Matt Ryan's salary seems high. That could very well have been an 0/16 team without him, I'll grant. But considering the team's success since 2013, making him the second highest paid QB seems a bit much.
Nice quote from the link.

Rodgers and Brees are the only two elite QBs that are paid as such.
Another good one.

You sure left out a lot...
Wonder why?

Peyton's contract obviously took a hit because of questions about his injuries, but considering that its SPC is ranked between Kaepernick's and Cutler's, I'd say he's criminally underpaid. And it's clear that Brady's deal is team friendly, because a 9.5% SPC for an all time great is just wrong. I'm guessing he took that deal because there's less pressure on him to be the breadwinner in his household, as ridiculous as that sounds. But there's no doubt that it gives the Pats a competitive advantage

The advantage of having a big time QB signing for cheap isn't from the lesser salary cap hit IMO
Brady's insanely low cap hit allows the Pats to underpay for their other talent as well. When someone comes in BBs office asking for 15-20 mil a season he can sit them down and go "look Brady doesn't even make that much. You think you're worth more to us than Brady?" And completely undercuts their leverage.
