Well unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of watching Jones or Hogan, so all I can go by is what I read about them.
I'm not denying the Greatness of their respective Careers. Personally I think jack/tiger Would be 2nd best if Jones would have played a full career like them, but we'll never know.
ETA: your Hate for Tiger in golf threads skews your judgement in regards to other players, it's a little ridiculous.

I admit my hatred for that prick who thinks he is a god and Tiger nutlickers can't read or comprehend anything I say after that. A bunch of whiny little shits. Read further nutlickers....
However, I have objectively discussed and even defended Tiger in my posts.
Just recently, I posted how Singh and his caddie seriously disrespected Tiger and Tiger whipped his arse that round too.
I will never argue Tiger's dominate years except to say he lacked the competition of Jack or what is happening now. But he dominated a field who was in fact scared of him.

I like these discussions just as a golf fan.
I believe pretty strongly had Hogan not A) had to serve 2 1/2 years in the prime of his career in the Army and B) had a near-fatal car accident that took him away from the game for years, he would be in the Nicklaus/Woods level.
