So now drinking IPA'S is hipster. Sweet jesus, this thread reminds me of the bud heavy ad from the Super Bowl. Let's make vast generalizations because we can't come up with anything else to say.

I dont think he meant that. It is like the saying, every Ferrari is a car, but not every car is a Ferrari.

So while hipsters likely will get an IPA in a bar, getting an IPA does not make you a hipster. But I am in agreement to you hipster has become a word that most use for anyone different that I dont like

This may blow some folks mind, but PBR is quite popular among bikers.

FWIW, I'm more of a bourbon man but when it comes to beer, I prefer Yuengling.

Someone wearing a tailored suit? HIPSTER!
Jeans that weren't bought off the rack from Wal Mart? HIPSTER!
Listening to music that isn't on mass-play radio? HIPSTER!

How many hipsters does it take to change a lightbulb?

Ehh, it's this really obscure number. I doubt you've ever heard of it.

The people who complain about hipsters are actually more annoying than the hipsters themselves.

Hipsters don't cross my mind until rednecks on TD have a circle jerk.

I don't think anyone under 30 thinks it is cool to smoke anymore.

So smoking is not mainstream any more? Voila! Hipsters will be chain-smoking Pall Mall unfiltered by the carton in short order.

Very hipster lingo.

Hipsters get very offended when they are called hipsters.

How did the hipster burn his mouth? He ate pizza before it was cool.

The first chick looks like a pinup girl. The others could be labeled hipster.

I don't see how hairy armpits equals hipster. But whatever float your boat bro.

And here is a sorority girl with armpit hair

100% armpit hair is not a thing of the hipster community.

It is a feminist/grunge hippie thing

You have to look at the context in which it is being used. When I go to a real life grown up business meeting in my tailored suit, it's not. If I were to go to a shithole bar to swill cheap beer in "tailored" garb, it's hipster as frick.
