A matter of opinion for sure but UGH!! I never heard anything from Audioslave that I felt could touch Rage's debut or Badmotorfinger. Thankfully I was lucky enough to catch both bands on those exact tours in a couple of small clubs here in Jax.
My preference for Audioslave is predicated on my disdain for white rappers and my admiration of Chris Cornell as a vocalist, while finding much of Soundgarden's stuff to be a little dull. Audioslave combines the best of both bands: Tom Morello and Chris Cornell.
Moth, Revelations, Cochise, Original Fire all great stuff. Nothing complicated, just great, straightforward rock.

If I was at a concert and someone was in the process of attacking the musicians I would be willing to kill the attacker and save the musician. So I suppose I really would be willing to kill to see anyone perform in the right circumstances.

I haven't seen Courtney Barnett yet. I'd like to see her. She's probably #1 on my wishlist right now. Maybe Sturgill Simpson as my #2.
I think I've seen everyone else I want to see, at least once. If I had a time machine, I'd go back and see Minor Threat.

I hear ya. I actually don't mind the rapping, especially merging with the brilliance of the music on Rage's debut. Both bands did lose me over the next 5-6 years but I would still MUCH prefer their early music to Audioslave.
It's just different strokes for different folks.

I got to see Maiden last time they were in Charlotte, 2012 or so. Greatest musical experience I've ever had.
Always had the opportunity to see KISS twice was I enjoyed.
Would have loved the chance to see both of them "back in the day" still.

Real concerts and places?
I'd kill to see Jimi Hendrix burst onto the scene at the Monterrey Pop Festival in '67.
