Thanks, Landon. Now you stay home because you clearly don't have it anymore.

After a truly poor performance (something that is going to happen every once in a while no matter who is coaching) against Honduras, the team's record was 7-1-1 in the Hex. 22 points in the Hex was as many as 2006. More than 2002 and 2010.

Fun read. I thought it was funny to see the consistency in posters. cwil was pimping Tim Ream.
Lol I noticed that too. Since that time he's been Bolton's player of the year twice. And whaddayouknow he was the only player who looked half decent against Panama and probably should have been starting every game over Brooks.

From the Klinsmann hiring thread -
That right there is enough for me to judge him more harshly.

I never used this as a barometer for success. Merely used it as a reason to say the USMNT isn't a laughingstock.
In fact, I'd say it's pretty laughable that Germany and the Netherlands couldn't keep Bobby Wood from beating them.

But the whole argument that you are responding to was that we were a laughing stock before Jurgen.
When was that ever the case?

The US hasn't been a laughingstock on the world stage since at least 2002. MLS is another matter, but Jurgy belittling it regularly doesn't help its perception (another reason Jurgy should be sacked).

I think Jurgy's conditioning training is too harsh. All I can think about is those pulled hammies at the World Cup. Conditioning was never an issue for the USMNT. Why is it now?

I posted this in another thread about the over-conditioning:
I understand we need to be fit but shouldn't that be more on the players time with their clubs during 9 months of the year and not the relative short time the team has together. In that short time you're not going to see that much of an endurance improvement and will more likely fatigue your squad. That time would see more return being used working on actual play and getting the team to gel.

no its not actually
what kills our guys is gold cup then world cup then gold cup. No one has a fricking off season especially the European based guys.

Yea it was when we were playing some elite teams. It was clear they were more fit unless all we did was bunker then hit them on the counter
