CHS has had some great talent on the field over the years, as does West Monroe.

The difference between a West Monroe & a Catholic has been one thing and one thing only, superior coaching. I am not trying to be condescending but that what any sports comes down to.

Coach W seems to be a good man and a good coach. However, he could never win the 'big game' when it matters.

I have more than one time felt bad for him because he could never get over that hump.(many on this board may not feel the same.)

I am not trying to be down on him as a person, just stating the facts.

It ain't just coaching. Look at the D1 talent Weat Monroe puts out. A ton of lineman

Look at the talent Catholic puts out. A ton of skill position players

Those lineman used to eat Catholic alive. Vince Lombardi couldn't have coached them to a win.

Now 2006, was a true choke. Catholic had D1 lineman but a kicker who couldn't make an extra point against Acadiana in the semis

And a superior strength and conditioning program.
