How awesome is Major League?

Watching the end of it on Comedy Central right now, and I'm always impressed at how well they captured all the elements of an awesome home crowd sports atmosphere.
It's a sports movie that doesn't take itself too seriously and still manages to be fun as hell without the over the top cheesiness.
Is there a better recreation of a crowd in any other sports movie? Rudy maybe, but even then Rudy's brother isn't even looking in the right direction in the last scenes

pretty great until you realize the entire plot makes no sense b/c if the owner really wanted to lose that badly she could have traded away guys or sent them down to the minors.
of course, had they kept the original ending where its revealed she was never going to move the team and was acting like an a-hole to try and get them to band together that little issue wouldnt matter.

Everybody's All American was filmed during halftime of a LSU game. It was set in the 50's though so I am sure you can pick out a few people not dressed to the time period. Also, I remember The Program having a good crowd recreation. I assume that it was filmed during a USCe game as well.

It might be time to do a remake of that one but I don't know how you could ever replace Willie Mays Hays.

#2 Willie wasn't too bad

No, she couldn't have.

One of my favorite lines, when Wild Thing gets dropped off on the motorcycle
"Look at this f****** guy"
And of course ever line by Uecker is quotable

I bet a guy like Taylor was on the back end of a really bloated deal. Totally unmoveable.

He was playing in a Mexican league. Now, if you mean Dorn I would believe that.

It always cracked me up when Sheen has to wear a tie at the restaurant and says "I look like a banker in this"
